Piece of advice from an internet marketer: Put some ads up. Could you imagine if you had ads up via AdSense? 90,000 views @ 1% CTR (which is low) would have = EASILY $1,000 in revenue. And I mean EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASILY!

    Happy Blogging! And congrats!

LOL! We’ve applied for ads – we’re just waiting on approval. But thanks for the tip! We were totally caught by surprise by all this.

P!nk and Alyssa Milano just tweeted a link to your blog, crazy awesome!

NO WAY! Thanks for the head’s up – the guy who wrote Zombieland also retweeted it, who got it from the writer of The Cleveland Show! Seriously geeking out here, lol!

OK, I’ve been hanging back while you’ve been besieged by hundreds of comments (your castle has been stormed, you might say…) As one who was reading this blog back before you moved overseas, I must confess to feeling a bit breathless myself…how much more so must you feel! But I just had to tell you that made me giggle out loud! I LOVE The Princess Bride! It’s the one movie that’s as good as the book (though you should read the book) probably because so much of the dialogue is verbatim from the book. I’m glad such a fine writer was “discovered” and Maddy says to tell Maura not to cut her hair!

I think I love you, which is a bit awkward since we just met and all.

Oh no! My last comment was not added properly, lol! How does one fix that…oh well, spelling errors and wrong addy’s aside, I still love your brood. Cheers!

all comments have to be approved, so there’s a delay – helps weed out spam and such 😉

My mood instantly brightened when I saw the picture of Inigo and that quote!! We LOVE that movie and if I had a dime for every time that quote was used in our house, we’d probably be very rich! Congrats on all your well-deserved success! I’d say 2012 is off to a mighty fine start. 🙂

I found my way here through a Facebook post and I’ve been wandering around for a while. I almost didn’t comment after I saw all the time you’ve had to put into approving posts but then I realized that the 40/50 looks you used to get here are what I get too, and I love comments. So… I loved your post about the word, you’ve given me something to think about and oh, I’ve enjoyed my peak into your world! 🙂

I love this – and your blog in general! Love your thoughts – I have a son with Cerebral Palsy, and I found your ” sight ” very encouraging.

I read your post on Being Retarded, and I am compelled to thank you for giving the word retarded a new meaning. Have a great day ahead! 😀

Number 4 is spot on. This is the good side of the internet, the positive and supportive side.

I am mildly obsessed with your blog, your family, etc. I have my masters in teaching students with moderate disabilities and while I may not be using my degree at this point in my life, I have and will always be an advocate for children with special needs. Your post about my least favorite word really struck a chord with me, over the last few weeks I have heard it used in several different contexts and each time it sends chills down my spine. I was at the gym yesterday and the “new” Charlie and The Chocolate Factory was on one of the TV’s. The Closed Caption was on and in one of the scenes, the little kid who plays Charlie said the word and I nearly fell off the treadmill! I couldn’t believe it. Anyways, thank you for the glimpse into your life — your family is beautiful! : )
