Carry on, nothing to see here

I was in the bathroom throwing some make up on just now when Maura let out a cry from downstairs.

I will admit – I paused.  Waited to see if it was something I should run for.

She cried out again, then let out a “Mom!  MOM!” while sounding a bit hysterical.

I ran.

And found her on her back on the floor at the top of the stairs, legs up.

She’s crying, looking horrified, and then her legs start kicking.

Now I’m trying to figure out – how did she end up on her back?  Why are her legs kicking?  Is she in control or is this a partial seizure?  WHAT’S GOING ON!?!?

She stops kicking and sits up enough for me to hug here while I yell for teens.

“Does anyone know what happened to Maura?”

The eldest comes to the bottom of the stairs and smirks.  “Her movie ended.”

That’s it?

I even say it to her.  “All this because your movie ended?”

Maura starts to laugh.

God bless the little drama princess, this is why I need therapy.

By the way, “Lilo and Stitch” is SO good, it’s worth scaring the bejeezus out of your mother over when it ends.
